Nautivar Octopus Form Handcarved Solid Wood Sculpted Vessel Sink

Design & Style
The Nautivar Vessel Sink unfolds as a vivid sculptural narrative—its Octopus Form coiling and extending across the surface with a sense of movement that feels almost sentient. Each tentacle wraps and curves with deliberate rhythm, creating a composition that is both dynamic and grounded, where structure becomes storytelling.

This is not merely a basin, but a centerpiece of expressive design. The exterior is richly detailed, echoing baroque intricacy and organic fluidity, while the interior bowl remains calm and refined—a quiet counterpoint to the surrounding motion. Nautivar embraces a maximalist interpretation of organic design, where artistry and function intertwine without restraint.

Material & Craftsmanship
Handcarved from solid hardwood, Nautivar is shaped from a single block selected for its dense grain and dramatic tonal variation. The Octopus Form is meticulously carved by hand, each suction detail, curve, and surface refined through skilled craftsmanship and patience.

The basin interior is carefully hollowed and polished to ensure durability and smooth water flow, while the exterior retains its sculptural texture, preserving the depth of the carving. A hand-applied finish enhances the natural grain, revealing intricate patterns that shift across the form. No veneers, no assembly—only solid wood, carved into a continuous, unified piece.
